North Aceh | Acehcorner.com – PT Pema Global Energi (PGE) together with Bakrie Amanah Institute held circumcision activities for the country 2023 by circumcising 80 orphans and dhuafa around the PGE operating area in North Aceh. The activity was carried out at the Point A vendor building, Nibong, North Aceh, on Wednesday (27/12/2023).
The circumcision participants came from Nibong District, Tanah Luas District, Matangkuli, Syamtalira Aron, Pirak Timu, Paya Bakong and Langkahan. The circumcision process was assisted by the Syamtalira Aron District Health Center team. In addition to circumcision, the circumcised children also received gifts in the form of food packages, t-shirts, sarongs, and compensation money.
In his speech during the circumcision ceremony, Pj Regent of North Aceh Dr. Mahyuzar, M.Si read by Assistant III Setdakab North Aceh, Drs. Adamy, M.Pd expressed his appreciation to PGE and Bakrie Amanah for the implementation of free circumcision activities and compensation to orphans and underprivileged children in need.
“PGE has helped a lot of things for the people of North Aceh, especially around its operational area, this circumcision and compensation activity is one of the activities that is really needed considering the economic conditions of the community are now difficult, we thank and appreciate PGE and Bakrie Amanah Institution,” said Mahyuzar.
PGE Field Manager, Ruzi Abd Muis in his speech said that the circumcision activity was in order to share kindness with the company’s neighboring communities around the PGE operating area in Working Area B. “We also continue to be committed to creating a positive and sustainable social impact for the community around the operating area in North Aceh and the people of Aceh in general,” said Ruzi.
Ruzi added that in terms of environmental care as social responsibility, every year PGE plans and realizes community assistance based on the budget approved by BPMA, including paving the road from Matangkuli to Pirak Timu approximately 6 kilometers, building 5 units of very livable assistance houses and MCKs, scholarships for elementary school students for this year will be submitted on Friday, December 29, 2023, post-flood assistance and rubber boat assistance complete with engines to PMI North Aceh and a number of other assistance.
