North Aceh – PT Pema Global Energi (PGE) together with the Aceh Oil and Gas Management Agency (BPMA) handed over compensation to 4,000 orphans from a number of sub-districts in the North Aceh region.

The donation was symbolically handed over by PGE General Manager Eppy Gustiawan to 30 orphans during the breaking of the fast together and the handover ceremony of the Point B condensate facility on Wednesday (5/4/2023) at Point A, Nibong, North Aceh.

The donation was handed over to orphans and the elderly in a number of sub-districts in ring 1 of PGE’s working area in North Aceh and a number of areas that are being crossed by seismic activities.

PGE General Manager, Eppy Gustiawan through PGE’s External Relations Coordinator, Agus Salim, said the donation to 4,000 orphans was a form of gratitude from PGE after almost two years of managing Working Area B with excellent performance in terms of operations, production and without work accidents.

“This is a form of our gratitude by sharing happiness with orphans and dhuafa around our operational area, we hope this can be useful to them in celebrating Eid al-Fitr in the next few days,” Agus Salim said.

Agus also added, that currently PGE is conducting three exploration and seismic drilling points so that with the prayers of the orphans and dhuafa will bring good results as expected.

Meanwhile, BPMA Deputy for Business Support Afrul Wahyuni said that BPMA strongly supports every activity carried out by PGE, which is one of the Contractor Cooperation Contracts (KKKS) under the authority of Aceh.

“We really appreciate positive activities like this, because this positive activity will certainly create a good image of PGE in the surrounding community. So that in the future the community will fully support activities, both exploration and exploitation of oil and gas carried out by PGE in North Aceh and surrounding areas, “concluded Afrul Wahyuni.
